Chemco have developed a
range of chemical resistant pipe and tank lining products that are styrene
and solvent-free.
They
are based on epoxy or epoxy novolac
leading edge technology and can be filled with glassflake and other
specialist
fillers depending on the application. There are significant cost
savings possible at application over
traditional
vinyl ester and polyester systems because;
– They
are non-flammable, styrene-free and do not require special ventilation
equipment during
application.
–
They are
moisture tolerant and work in high humidity ambient conditions and can be
applied onto
damp substrates.
– They are
ideal for
hydro-blast preparation.
– They
are also less prone to failure caused by poor application conditions and
surface preparation.
– They
do not require primers.
– Ambient
application conditions are far less stringent saving money with reduced
“painting downtime”.
