OVERVIEW
The fermentation room required a suitable coating system for the roof and walls. FDA approval was a necessary requirement.
CHALLENGE
Working in a damp environment to a limited timescale, with no disruption to the manufacturing process and no blasting permitted/feasible.
SOLUTION
One coat of Epo-chem™ RA 500M solvent-free, wet tolerant glassflake epoxy system @ 150µ by brush and roller.
OUTCOME
The work was carried out on time, within budget, with no H&S issues, no major delays and more importantly, no disruption to production.
